Illinois Requirement Detail for Broker Real Estate Post-Licensing Education
30-Hours of Post License Education is required for: Brokers renewing for the FIRST TIME. If this is the FIRST renewal for your Broker license you are required to complete the 30-Hours of Post License education prior to renewing your license.

Note: This 30-hour program includes a 15-hour fully online course and a 15-hour interactive course.

Final Exam Instructions:
Each course, except the 15-hour interactive, contains a final exam. A minimum score of 70% is required to pass the final exam and can be taken as many times as needed to pass.
Reporting:
Real estate course completions are reported to PSI.
Expiration Date of Course:
The CE Shop’s post-licensing course in Illinois will expire 1 year after the date of purchase. The CE Shop will allow students to purchase a new course at a 50% discount of the current retail price of the new course. Each individual course will have an expiration date listed in the student’s account.
Certificates:
Upon completion of the course, The CE Shop will provide students with an electronic certificate of completion. Certificates will remain in your account for a minimum of five years, should you need additional copies. Please refer to your license application to determine if you need to submit your certificate of completion with your license request. Course completion dates are recorded using Central Standard Time. Please note that the date of your certificate of completion will reflect this.
